Antonio Meneses & Cristina Ortiz
Antonio Meneses is the last cellist who was part of the famous Beaux Arts Trio. After the end of the ensemble in 2008, the Brazilian musician starts to concentrate more and more on the big cello repertoire. He has been a major advocate of the seldom-heard works of Brazilian composers. Along with compatriot and pianist Cristina Ortiz, he shows the audience a glimpse of the Brazilian repertoire at the Brasil Festival. It's a beautiful dance of folk and classical music.
