Collection conservation and mobility: international visitors' programme

DutchCulture welcomes three visitors in the framework of the International Visitors’ Programme for Heritage.
Date(s)

From 24 to 28 March, Mrs. Mahirta (Indonesia), Mr. Trofimov and Mr Khalturin (Russia) are visiting the Netherlands. They will visit several Dutch institutes in the field of heritage and conservation, including Stichting Restauratie Atelier Limburg (SRAL) in Maastricht, the Atelier Building in Amsterdam and the Netherlands Institute for Art History in the Hague.

Main goals of their visit are gaining information on developments regarding the study and restoration of Flemish and Dutch paintings. This visitors' programme is co-organised with the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands and the Foundation for Cultural Inventory.

Mrs. Mahirta is Head of the Archeology Department at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The Russian delegates are Yuri Trofimov, Director of the M.A. Vrubel Museum Omsk Regional Museum of Fine Arts and Yulian Khalturin, leading researcher at the State Institute of Restoration in Moscow.
