Concert Brazilian singer Siba

"The electric guitar of Brazilian singer Siba strongly nudges his music in the direction of rock, though he also eagerly uses North Brazilian folk music and West African melodies. Siba enriches the sound of his band with surprising instruments such as vibraphone and tuba. These lend a warm and playful charm to his songs along with an unusual colouring. The tuba weaves agilely under his voice – in counterpoint to the light hearted and rhythmical lyrics he sings and sometimes recites. With a drummer and a second guitarist, Siba creates relaxed moods with his lively music, then switches to energetic Brazilian pop to finally end in an eclectic style that is characteristic for the current music scene in Pernambuco."
