Concert - Göksel Yilmaz

On 23 February the acclaimed Turkish singer, composer and saz player Göksel Yilmaz and his Ensemble  will perform their new programme 'Gezgin' (The Traveller) in the venue Kunstkerk in Dordrecht. This new programme will take the listener on a musical journey through life, from desire  to uprising, from sorrow to passionate love and joy. The group performs traditional Turkish, Kurdish and Arabic songs from the last centuries with a contemporary approach. The music is also influenced by Western genres like jazz, classic music and blues.
