Duo PEHLIVANLI & SAFONOVA - Ankara

The Dutch-Turkish Violist Esra Pehlivanli will perform together with the pianist Anastasia Safonova in one of the most prestigious festivals of Turkey, the International Ankara Music Festival. The program includes three famous Viola Sonatas and Penderecki's "Cadenza" for solo viola. Besides performing these major works, Esra will give the Turkish premiere of the "Viola Concerto" for solo viola and chamber ensemble composed in 2012 by America based Turkish composer Erberk Eryilmaz.
