Dutch economic mission in Brasil

Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Máxima arrived in the capital Brasilia, the start of a five-day official visit as a pioneer for a large Dutch economic mission of 157 businesses and institutions.

Lilianne Ploumen, Minister of Foreign Trade,  accompanies prince and princess during their journey through five Brazilian cities. In some parts of Brazil also closes the present Secretary Sander Dekker (Education) joined the company on.

The visit has a focus on seven sectors: agri-food, waste management, yacht building, creative industries, aviation, science and technology. In addition, as  two major sporting events will be held in Brazil, the World Cup in 2014 and the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, on of the missions is the preparation of the  "orange camp", a suitable spot Orange sports fans.
