Exhibition 'Be Mobile in Immobility'

'Be Mobile in Immobility’ is a project curated by a group of artists living and working in the Netherlands. (Yang Ah Ham, Boukje B. Janssen, Jean Bernard Koeman, Sefer Memişoğlu, Sebastian Diaz Morales, Fahrettin Gürkan Örenli, Arief S. Wiranatakusumah). 'The Materialized Memory' examines construction of the personal and social/political collective memories. This project is executed by a unique group of artists, curators and writers from different regions and cultures presenting diverse perspectives woven into the contemporary socio-cultural environment in the globalized era. The exhibition will first be exhibited in Seoul and then be presented at DEPO during the 12th Istanbul Biennial and in Amsterdam in 2012.
