Film screening and workshops with Leonard Retel Helmrich

Renowned filmmaker Leonard Retel Helmrich will be in Ankara between March 17th and 21st to present his Indonesian trilogy and tell about his influential film technique: Single Shot Cinema. Helmrich's invention of the single shot cinema has proved to be an inspiration for an entire generation of young filmmakers.

Helmrich's multi-award winning trilogy of films, an in-depth portrait of Indonesia through the eyes of one family with whom he has filmed for over a decade, will be screened at 24th Ankara international Film Festival. Mr. Helmrich will also give two workshops about the single shot cinema technique at Bilkent University and at CAVA Institute, CerModern.
