International visitor: Calvyn Gilfellan (ZAF)
Mr. Calvyn Gilfellan is the CEO of the Castle of Good Hope in Cape Town, South Africa. Commissioned by the Dutch East India Company, the Castle of Good Hope was built between 1664 and 1679 and is one of the oldest existing European structures in South Africa.
The aim of Mr. Gilfellan's visit is to gain insight into the knowledge, expertise and experience in the Dutch heritage field in the area of digitization, management, marketing, storytelling and public-private partnerships. He will meet representatives from various organisations and institutes in the Dutch heritage field in order to collect ideas and contacts that will help him achieve new features for the Castle of Good Hope.
