International visitors: Waldick Jatobá and Gabriel Bichara Santini Pinto (BRA)

From 5-10 May 2014 Waldick Jatobá (São Paulo) and Gabriel Bichara Santini Pinto (Rio de Janeiro) will take part in our International Visitors’ Programme.

Waldick Jatobá is collector and co-founder of the design fair MADE mercado arte·design in São Paulo. Gabriel Bichara Santini Pinto is specialist creative industries at FIRJAN, the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro.

Goal of their visit is to get to know current developments in the creative industries sector in the Netherlands, on policy, funding and company levels. During their stay in the Netherlands, Mr. Jatobá and Mr. Pinto will attend the What Design Can Do conference (8-9 May) at the Stadsschouwburg, Amsterdam. They will also visit The New Institute, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, the Fund for Creative Industries and meet the Topteam Creative Industries.
