Istanbul Tanpinar Literature Festival 2014

The Istanbul Tanpinar Literature Festival will be held between 5 - 11 May 2014 and carries the theme City and Journey this year.  Dutch author Douwe Draaisma will be present as well and takes part in two programmes on the 6th and 8th of May!

The Istanbul Tanpınar Literature Festival (ITEF) is an annual forum for followers of Turkish and international literature. Since 2009 writers, publishers, critics, translators, and members of the press from around the world have had the opportunity  to meet, discuss and exchange ideas, and discover the rich literary voices of today's Turkey and abroad.
