Karsu Dönmez - Rotterdam

Karsu Dönmez will be performing in Rotterdam at De Doelen.

Karsu is a multi-talent. The Dutch musician with Turkish roots is not only a gifted singer and piano-player, but also a composer, arranger and lyricist. From early age Karsu performs on many local and international stages, including the renowned Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the North Sea Jazz Festival, the Istanbul Jazz Festival and – twice – at the legendary Carnegie Hall in New York. In 2011 she released her debut-album ‘Confession’. Karsu is now touring and when she’s not performing she works on new material

With her beautifull voice, her extraordinary pianoplaying and her remarkable compositions, mixed with her stunning appearance and joyful attitude, Karsu proves herself to be one of the most interesting, international jazz-stars of her generation.
