Kauwboy at the Brasília Film Festival

The  Brasília International Film Festival will screen the Dutch film Kauwboy which recently won a prestigious prize for the best debut film at the International Film Festival in Berlin.
The festival receives the support of the Embassy of the Netherlands and the sponsorship of ING Bank Brasil, KLM - Sky Team, Heineken Brasil, Shell Brasil, Randstad, HYVA and Golden Tulip.

The director of Kauwboy is Boudewijn Koole who wrote the script together with Jolein Laarman. The film is about the 10-year-old boy Jojo, who  is caught between his love for a jackdaw and his loyalty to his father.

Kauwboy had its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival where it won two important prizes for Best Youth Film and Best First Feature, and has since been screened and awarded at various other international film festivals.
