Codarts & Royal Conservatory Big Band & Lilian Vieira - Rotterdam

Lilian Vieira, a Brazilian singer who lives in the Netherlands for over 20 years, is best known as the lead singer of the band Zuco 103, but Lilian is involved in several projects. This time, Lillian is invited to bring Brazilian spirit to the concert of the Codarts & Royal Conservatory Big Band. Part of the repertoire are compositions by Moacir Santos, a Brazilian author who died in 2006, and who was ahead of his time. In the early sixties, he blended Brazilian rhythms like samba and maracatu with jazz and classical music.
