Maciel Salú + Silvério Pessoa & Biliu de Campina

Forró is exciting dance music from the tropical Northeastern region of Brazil. The most important instrument in this style is the accordion, accompanied by the fast and thrilling rhythm of the zabumba (a bass drum) and the triangle. The typical pandeiro tambourine is added by leading forró artist Fúba de Taperoá, next to Maciel Salú and Silvério Pessoa, who like to mix it up with pop, salsa, frevo, rock and electro.

The three forró ambassadors come to Rasa, Utrecht. First concert by Marciel Salú, followed by Silvério Pessoa and his band.
