Mrs. Smit and the Boys from Brasil will provide the 'swinging' start of the OBA Brasil Festival. Mrs. Smit and the Boys from Brasil is a band of four students of the Dutch Conservatory of Amsterdam led by Femke Smit. Mrs. Smit and the Boys from Brasil make your hips swing with their vibrant Brazilian music, influenced by the sounds and rhythms of bossanova and samba artists like Tom Jobim, Gilberto Gil, Astrud Gilberto, Rosalia de Souza, Djavan, Maria Bethania, and so forth. During a concert you find yourself on one of the beaches of Rio sipping a caipirinha.
