Networking Meeting on Cultural Diplomacy and Creative Activism
On June 4 and 5, the cultural attachés of some Dutch embassies are coming back to the Netherlands to learn about new cultural and diplomatic developments. DutchCulture organizes the Embassy Culture Days (Ambassade Cultuurdagen) in collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As part of the Embassy Culture Days, a public meeting is organized on the topic of Creative Activism. Where does this phenomenon affect our international cultural policy and the daily work of some embassies ? Do embassies want and can support (openly) controversial artists and creative activists ? What is the contribution of creative activists to work toward a secure, stable and prosperous world?
