Port Izmir 2013– Exhibiton by Herman de Vries

This year the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands has supported the Port Izmir 2013 with the participation of the Dutch artist Herman de Vries in Izmir. In the 1950s and 1960s herman de vries gradually exchanged his work as a biological researcher to become an artist. In his early work herman vries displayes his name especially not with capital letters, because he wants to avoid the hierarchy between people.  The program of “Port Izmir 3” will start in November 2013 till june 2016.
