The premiere of the documentary ‘My child’

My Child, a feature documentary co-funded by the MATRA fund of the Kingdom of the Netherlands will have its first public screening on Thursday, 21st of February at the Caddebostan Kültür Merkezi in Istanbul. The documentary, directed by Can Candan, is about the experiences of a courageous and inspiring group of parents of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) individuals in Turkey. The documentary will be shown in three cities: Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, as part of ‘!f International Independent Film Festival’, taking place between 14 February and 3 March 2013. It will also be screened via internet in 31 additional cities in Turkey and abroad, as part of project ‘!f2’ on Sunday, 24th of February.
