Rumi Evening (Sheb-i-Arus)

740 years ago the great Sufi master, philosopher and poet, Mevlana Jalal ed Din al Rumi, past away. Rumi's influence on both the Islamic and Western philosophers and thinkers is enormous.

The Yunus Emre Institute Amsterdam is organizing a evening to commemorate the great master and its legacy.

On 19 December three Rumi experts will explain its life, philosophy and poetry. After which the renowned Sufi ensemble Tevazu will perform.

Rumi admirers and lovers of Sufi music and dance are welcome to join.
