STRP Festival Eindhoven

STRP Festival is one of the largest art & technology (e-culture) festivals in Europe where music, art and technology meet.

The multidisciplinary program combines 360 degree experiences with adventure to appeal to a wide audience. You will find projects by young game designers alongside major works from established international artists, experimental live cinema, and successful pop artists and DJs. At STRP, interactive art, light art, robotics, concerts, theatrical and dance performances, experimental music, interviews, discussions, films, lectures, video art, animation and workshops co-exist dynamically. This year’s STRP Festival will be held November 18-27 at the Klokgebouw in Eindhoven.

Present at the festival is Brazilian artist Amon Tobin will present his 2011 album ‘ISAM live’. ‘ISAM live’ is created with synthesised field recordings played on actual instruments. For the first time Amon Tobin recorded his own vocals, gender modified. Re-drawing and blurring the lines between psychedelia and sci-fi and using beautiful visuals, ‘ISAM live’ will make you feel strangeness, excitement and sometimes even fear.
