Tombaz summer concerts

During the sugar feast, the municipality of Güre will host the Dutch-Turkish tango band Tombaz. Meral Ari and Emirhan Tuga established the ensemble in 1998, inspired by their love for Argentinian tango. They started discovering Turkish tango and since then enlarged their scope to kantos and operettas. Tombaz mainly performs music from the early Republican years, bringing the music of multicultural Istanbul of the 1930s to life again.
