Ulrike Quade Company at Istanbul International Puppet Festival

Ulrike Quade Company will be performing a modern interpretation of Antigone at the Istanbul International Puppet Festival on 25 and 26 October 2014.

ANTIGONE, the first collaborative work by choreographer Nicole Beutler and theatre maker Ulrike Quade, is a visual adaptation of the Greek tragedy written by Sophocles in 442BC

Istanbul International Puppet Festival is an independent festival dedicated to promote and enhance the art of puppetry. Since it was founded in 1998 it has hosted companies of different techniques and styles from Japan to Brazil.
