Visitors' talks: delegation New York State (US)

On Friday 4 November, DutchCulture is hosting visitors' talks by the New York State delegation.
Date(s)

The NY State delegation consists of Mr. Mark Schaming (Director of the New York State Museum), Ms. Jessica Neidl (Director Local Governance at the State University New York) and Ms. Melissa Branfman (Director of the Wyckoff House Museum).

Their shared mission is primarily to get a better impression of the Netherlands of the 17th century, the period that New Netherland as Dutch colony, the cradle of the current State of New York, was founded. The institutes want to create more awareness of the early Dutch colonial history through exhibitions, programming and exchanges.

All three visitors will give a short presentation on their work at their respective institutes, their connection to the Netherlands and their results of their mission here. There will be time for questions and discussion with the audience.
