Yan Ge at Crossing Border Festival

This years Crossing Border Festival in the Hague will take place from 14-17 November. Among the presentations will be young Chinese author Yan Ge (1984), recently named as one of the most promising authors in China by People's Literature magazine. Except for her writing activities she is also writing her PhD in comparative literature studies at Chengdu University as well as being chairwoman of the China Young Writers Association.

She will also be writing a daily column during the festival documenting her experiences, these will be translated and published online on the same day.
