Scholarships for talented young musicians for postgraduate education abroad

The Culture Fund (formerly the Prins Bernard Cultuurfonds) is a private fund that supports projects in the fields of culture and nature conservation in the Netherlands. Additionally, it awards various international cultural scholarships to talented creators, including musicians.

Individuals

Talented young musicians who have the Dutch nationality, who have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree at a Dutch conservatory in the past 3 years.

For what
Education/training

This may be a Master's program (or a part of it), outside the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

How much

Up to 50% of the total budget with a maximum of €25,000.

Requirements
  • Graduated within the past 3 years (or almost) from a Dutch conservatory. This may be a Bachelor's or Master's degree;
  • Dutch nationality or have lived in the Netherlands for at least 5 years.
  • You have not previously received a Cultuurfonds scholarship.
  • You are applying for a full-time study programme abroad.
  • The programme for which you are applying must last at least one academic year starting from July. You may already have started the programme, but scholarships are not awarded retroactively.
  • You will reside in the country where you are following your studies.
