Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships
Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport and offers opportunities to improve knowledge, skills and competences. It can provide access to further education for adult learners with fewer opportunities such as people facing social and economic barriers. For adult education providers and other organisations, the programme offers the possibility to cooperate with a wide range of partners abroad and become more open, dynamic and attractive educational institutions or organisations. Individuals can reinforce their ability to operate in different environment, to satisfy personal needs and boost their willingness to learn further.
With the Cooperation Partnerships scheme (Key Action 2- K220), collaboration projects are supported between at least three organisations in Europe. Through international activities such as joint meetings, events, or internationalisation at home, the focus is on strengthening the organisation itself and its (international) networks. The exchange of knowledge and the development of innovative products and methods are central. Together, the organisations in the partnership enhance their capacity to make a difference in adult education at both the national and international levels. The partnerships last from one to three years.
Organisations providing adult education, in one of the EU Member States, or one of the countries fully associated to the programme: Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, and Turkey. At least three organisations from three different program countries must be involved in the partnership.
Last deadline was 6 march 2025.
