Centre for Curating the Archive

The Centre for Curating the Archive (CCA) has recently been established at the Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town (UCT) in South Africa. The CCA is, in essence, a ‘special collection’ of the UCT library. Established documentarian Paul Weinberg has been appointed Senior Curator in order to set up a Photography Unit that will primarily digitise valuable and significant South African photography.
