Dordrecht Regional Archives

The Regional Archives Dordrecht is an organization where thanks to the support of the inhabitants of Dordrecht and of the the regional municipalities, the memory of the city and surrounding area communities is maintained. In its collection, which grows every day, the Regional Archives Dordrecht has thousands of records as audio and video clips, construction drawings, historical, archaeological finds, prints, cards, books, magazines and newspapers. The Regional Archives Dordrecht is the result of a collaboration between the former City Archives of Dordrecht and the Office of Monuments and Archaeology. Here the history of the city is brought together in all its facets, from paper sources to archaeological finds and numerous monuments giving together a good impression of Dordrechts rich past.
