Fund Directors of the Oostersche Handel and Reederijen

Funds Directors Oostersche Handel and Reederijen aims to provide financial support for activities that can promote knowledge, both among scientists and the general public, of Dutch maritime history and Dutch overseas trade in particular concerning the Baltic Sea region.

The Foundation pursues its goal by supporting:

• nautical historical research making archives and collections accessible,
• publications, both scientific and public
• exhibitions
• purchases to supplement the collection of Dutch heritage institutions
• art expressions with a nautical character
• all other suitable activities
