The Indo-European Memory Centre keeps the memory alive of the events that happend during the Second World War in the Dutch East Indies and the subsequent decolonization.
The Indo-European Memory Centre is one of the four national remembrance centers of the Second World War. The Centre is the place where people can go for the shared history of the Netherlands and Indonesia from about 1900 onwards with an emphasis on the Second World War and decolonization. More familiarity with Indo-European history leads to a better understanding of current events, developments and people that are related to this history. And by reminding and commemorating, the Indo-European story will be safeguarded in the future.
