Oerol Festival

Oerol is a performing arts festival in June, on Terschelling, one of the Dutch islands. The festival offers makers to explore the space, to create and to present. It invites the audience to step out into the open and experience location theatre on a adventurous and open way. Oerol presents itself as the international pioneer in the field of scenery theatre, in which the festival particularly works from the specific public space on the island. It also searches for a connection with other social domains and (inter)national partners.
