Schrit_tmacher

Stichting StEP by StEP, based in Heerlen, is founded to organise the Dutch part of the yearly international dance festival Schrit_tmacher. The festival originates from Germany. Therefore they work closely together with their German partner Kulturbetrieb Aken. The festival focuses on international dance, non-western developments, performance art and disciplinary cross-overs. Schrit_tmacher wants to show the latest developments, but also wants to initiate new impulses. It wants to start the artistic dialogue with the audience, the makers and colleagues.
