Zuyd University of Applied Sciences

Zuyd Hogeschool is an University of Applied Sciences, with locations in Maastricht, Heerlen and Sittard.

The Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts and Design is part of the Zuyd University of Applied Sciences. The academy offers bachelor’s studies in the fields of visual arts, design, fashion and Master’s in architecture and interior architecture. The bachelors of Fine Arts provides its students with several working techniques and learn to develop a conceptual approach to their art making, while the bachelor Lecturer Fine Arts and Design prepares students for modern teaching and lecturing.

The Maastricht Academy of Music is an internationally oriented academy and is also part of the Zuyd University of Applied Sciences. The school offers both BA and MA degrees in the direction of Classical Music, Jazz/Pop and Music in Education.

Furthermore The Maastricht Theatre Academy is part of the Zuyd University of Applied Sciences. The school offers studies for the profession of actor, director, performer or stage designer. The school works closely together with partner schools in Munich (Germany) and Manchester (UK).
