Mapping China: Literature - Practical Information on Publication

  • Due to its long term involvement in the Chinese publishing world and its yearly participation in the Beijing International Book Fair, the Dutch Foundation for Literature can provide information and advice on publishing matters in China.
  • English language information on Chinese literature and publishing in China can be found at the website Paper Republic, which also has a China Publishing Industry Newsletter one can subscribe to. A list of Chinese publishers can be found at the same website: http://paper-republic.org/publishers/
  • Internationally operating literary agencies for the Chinese book market are Grayhawk and Peony.
