The Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds aims stimulating the preservation of nature, culture and education. It does this by providing grants to projects and individuals in the cultural sector. The Foundation is funded by menaces, donations and the national lottery, among others. With more than 240 Designated Funds, the Cultuurfonds is market leader in the Netherlands of these personalized 'field of interest' funds.

The VandenEnde Foundation is a private fund which aims for the stimulation of young talent in the fields of the performing arts, film and television. Furthermore, the foundation provides financial support to Dutch cultural initiatives, such as the music education programme at The Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, various festivals, and the construction of the new wing for the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.
