Deniz Terli wins MUUSE x VOGUE Award 2014
For "the futuristic lines, the sense of volumes and a different femininity” Creative Industries Fund NL Talent Deniz Terli has been rewarded for her DANGEROUS LIAISONS_Thrill Seeker collection with the MUUSE x VOGUE Talents - Young Vision Accessories Award 2014. The Dutch-Turkish Terli is chosen from among more than 170 young talented shoe and accessory designers from over 50 countries. All graduates of top schools including Bunka, Central Saint Martins, Esmod Paris, London College of Fashion, and Parsons.
An impressive 55.000 votes were counted from January 26 - February 17 and more than 52.000 individuals showed their support by voting 50 designers through to the final round. From the 50 finalists chosen by the public, Senior Fashion Editor of Vogue Italia and Vogue Talents Sara Maino selected 1 winner.
As winning designer, Deniz Terli will join MUUSE and design a MUUSE Editions capsule collection to be produced and sold by MUUSE, supported with free production, sourcing, PR, marketing and sales. In addition, Terli will be given an online feature on VOGUE Talents.
Terli graduated from ArtEZ School of Arts Arnhem in 2012 and is inspired by feminity and seduction. She describes her collection as “graphically edgy, sexy and strong”. She is supported by the Creative Industries Fund NL in the context of the Grant Programme for Talent Development.
