DutchCulture College Tour

DutchCulture tours universities and universities of applied sciences to teach classes on international cultural collaboration.

International collaboration is becoming increasingly important in art and culture. But it is also a very particular subject, and one that we are eager to teach the upcoming generation of culture professionals. Our advisors are glad to share their knowledge and skills with students of higher education. This way, we hope to equip young artists, producers and other culture professionals to achieve maximum success in their careers.

From cultural diplomacy to artist residencies
We give guest lectures about the international culture policy of the Netherlands, the need for cultural diplomacy for the EU, large-scale cultural programmes and the day-to-day business of intercultural collaboration. We also organise workshops for young artists on subjects such as art residencies. In the coming months, you will find us at Erasmus University Rotterdam, the University of Amsterdam, the University of Groningen, and in March and April we will be holding a series of five lectures at the Amsterdam University of the Arts. We will also accompany this group of students on their study trip to Brussels.

Interested in collaboration?
We are not just glad to share our knowledge, but also eager to learn new things from educational institutes through collaborative ventures aimed at (policy) research and by offering internships at DutchCulture. Universities, universities of applied sciences and knowledge institutes who wish to collaborate with DutchCulture are invited to contact Robert Kieft.
