EU Culture program offer chances for the future
The European Union has an extensive Culture programme that aims to promote and expand cultural exchange between EU member states, as well as other European countries. The EU Culture programme can be a great instrument to sustain partnerships that have been built up through the bilateral year between Turkey and Netherlands.
The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Agency Executive Agency (EACEA) is responsible for the management of most parts of the EU Culture programme. To help citizens and organizations make use of these possibilities Cultural Contact Points (CCP’s) have been established in all EU member states and in most of the other countries taking part in the Culture programme. CCP’s are responsible for promoting the programme, facilitating the participation of as many cultural professionals as possible, ensuring an exchange of information with national cultural institutions, maintaining contact between the participants in the various Community programmes and a link with the other sources of information on the various Community programmes.
CCP the Netherlands CCP the Netherlands is part of SICA and offers tailor-made advice for organizations who want to apply for the Culture programme. It organizes information meetings about the programme, often in collaboration with Dutch sector institutes and umbrella organizations. For more information please click here.
