Follow up DutchDFA - Creative Industrie Fund NL
The Creative Industries Fund NL has committed itself with the Creative industries Internationalization Programme 2013-2016 to playing an exemplary role on the international stage. With an annual budget of two million euros, allocated by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the programme will focus on reinforcing the international reputation of the Dutch creative industries – architecture, design, fashion, gaming and e-culture – establishing lasting networks and market expansion.
The programme comprises both a grant programme and a parallel programme. An important aspect is the focus on a few themes in which the Netherlands definitely stands out. This focus offers advantages such as more points of reference for establishing connections with other leading economic sectors.
The programme is a follow-up to the experimental DutchDFA programme, which concluded with effect from 2013.
The choice of focus regions and hotspots and the selection of social themes are partially based on discussion with stakeholders and market explorations. In 2013 the programme will retain the focus countries from the DutchDFA programme, which are:
China
Germany
India
Turkey
Two grant rounds ─ deadline 8 August and 8 October ─ and a number of Open Calls are planned for 2013.
