International Design Alliance cancels Istanbul congress

The International Design Alliance (IDA) has announced today that the upcoming 2013 IDA Congress has been cancelled for reasons of Force Majeure.

Scheduled to take place in Istanbul (Turkey) on 16-17 November 2013, the congress and related events including the Education & Research Conference on 15 November 2013, as well as the Congress Fair & Exhibition have been cancelled due to the present circumstances in Turkey and current government travel advisories which have arisen.
