They know each other since their childhood in Brazil. Together they made their first adolescent steps in dance and in theatre. Both left in the nineties Brazil to develop their careers in Europe. And now, April 2011, they meet in again in Brazil, in a studio in Sao Paulo. They grew up and have the artistic experience and memory of the past years as a choreographer, as a theatre maker. The challenge is to blend. In Screaming Object the objects were built from the main theme of the work, which is, essentially, the projection and reflexion of the images we have of ourselves and the localization of our loneliness in society. Screaming Object is the union of two specific views of the scenic space that merge to create an absolutely unusual work of abstract dance and puppetry. The objects work as body extensions, mutations that create an illusion of live sculptures of unpredictable shapes. This collaboration starts, with this work, a new path and a new way of conceiving a work of art.
