Tudo a Mão
Tudo a Mão (Everything by Hand) is an exchange program of IBOT- Instituto Botucatu, a non profit organization, based on the exchange and fusion of craft, culture, and ideas. Each project lasts 2 to 6 weeks and takes place in an artisan’s workshop within the interior communities of Sao Paulo state, Brazil. Our focus is on the exploration of materials and techniques transformed into products for the contemporary design market.
Tudo a Mao is a concept in the collaborative approach to projects between designers and craftspeople. Developed by Silvia Sasaoka, each project combines environmental awareness, collective production and market vision, providing experiences that unite the simplicity of craftsmanship with contemporary urban life.
