Westfriesian Dansers at Flowershow in Changsha,

We're not sure this is really cultural exchnage, but:

The west Friesian Dance group Midwoud has been invited to dance at a large flower fair in Changsha. The twelve dancers and six accompanying musicians stepped in an airplane headed for China yesterday.

The group was approached by a flower dealer from southern Hunan, if they would come and dance at a fair in that province. Since then things have moved fast. The group has already done presentations in Korea, Latvia and America. Their conclusion is that abroad the reactions to their traditional costumes is always very encouraging.
