World Press Photo 2021 in Rabat, Morocco

The Dutch Embassy in Rabat, Morocco, organises The World Press Photo Exhibition 2021 until 15 April in the Bibliothèque Nationale in Rabat. Ambassador Jeroen Roodenburg opened the exhibition on 21 March, in the presence of, among others, many students in Journalism. He emphasised the importance of images in these troubled times; that what words cannot express, pictures often can. Furthermore, he mentioned the vital role of the World Press Photo Foundation, which guards the quality, integrity and creativity of photojournalism. “I hope some of you will be winners of the World Press Photo award someday,” he added.
