Daily newspapers generally dedicate 1 or maximum 2 pages to Culture and Arts, and due to its popularity music topics seem to be more widely covered than other forms of art. Respectable music critics include Doğan Hızlan, Zeynep Oral, Murat Beşer, Mehmet Tez, Melis Danismend, Berrin Karakaş and Donat Bayer (who is also an academic).
