In January 2007, the famous Turkish pop diva Sezen Aksu, who sold millions of albums, gave a performance together with the Metropole Orkest lead by Arjan Tien.
In February 2007, Kardes Türküler (‘Songs of brotherhood’) gave a performance. This ensemble of twelve musicians performed songs from various Turkish cultural minorities in their original language.
In February 2007 the Hüsnü Senlendirici Ensemble gave a performance.
In April 2007, Fazil Say and the Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest directed by Hans Leenders gave a performance.
In March 2007 Ugur Isik performed. In his performances he uses the Western classical cello to play the many folkmusic traditions of Turkey. As a special guest the Dutch basist Eric van der Westen was present.
In March 2007, Ethnorhythmix leaded by Fahrettin Yarkin performed. In their music they combine old rhythms of traditional music from India, Iran, Spain and Turkey.
In October 2008, Eurovision Songfestival winner Sertab Erener gave a concert supported by the Metropole Orchestra conducted by Arjan Tien.
In October 2008 the Doelen Ensemble together with Evrim Demirel, a young Turkish composer, gave a performance. Evrim Demirel combines sounds from contemporary music with techniques from classical Turkish music.
In October 2008 the Turkish-Dutch trio Baraná Trio gave a performance. They combine Turkish traditions with jazz. Guests Ernst Reijseger and the ney, kaval and zuma player Cengiz Baytemür from Istanbul also played in the concert.
In October 2008 the Mikail Aslan Band with Özlem Taner & Nilüfer Akbal performed. It is described as a Turkish-Kurdish encounter wherein the artists interpret Turkish-Kurdish songs and music from Eastern-Anatolia.
In November 2008 the Taksim Trio (Hüsnü Senlendirici, clarinet; Ismail Tuncbilek, baglama; Aytac Dogan, kanun) performed. They each have an individual career, and with Taksim Trio they bring together their three instruments.

In April 2010 Sevval Sam gave the final concert of the 2010 Turkey Now! festival. Her music is characterized by poetical songs from Anatolia, Istanbul and the Black Sea region.
In May 2010, pop singer Funda Arar gave a concert.
WMDC Rotterdam (World Music and Dance Centre)
In July 2010, the Stichting Singeldingen, an initiave of a group of neighbours who wish to create a meetingplace in the Heemraadspark in Rotterdam organized several activities for young and old. During this period various artists performed at the WMDC. One of these is Hüseyin Badilli, who is seen by many as a crossover-specialist in the traditional Turkish music and jazz.
Just like at Podium Mozaiek in Amsterdam, WMDC hosted the event “Türkü-bar-café Istanbul stijl”, based on Türkü bars in Istanbul which came up immensely when people from all over the country moved to Istanbul. In a Türkü bar one can listen to folk music from all these regions, but in a modern, city-like way. Several musicians from Turkey were invited to these evenings, like Rojin, Musa Eroğlu, Erkan Oğur, and Ismail Demircioğlu.
In October 2010 the master darbuka player Misirli Ahmet performed.

Kunstichting Sahne and Nazar Events organized a poetry and music evening in May 2007. The poets were Sunay Akin and Akgun Akova, and the music was by Volkan Konak and his band.
