Müfide Halaceli (Antakya) moved in 1976 from Turkey to Hengelo to be with her husband Mustafa, who worked in the textile business. In 1990 she opened ‘Müfide Hair Fashion’ and in 1998 ‘Müfide &More', both in Hengelo. Müfide won the Coiffure Award, ‘Kapsalon van het Jaar’ and the Top Hair Award. She went for a fashion shoot to Dalyan in Turkey, chosing this location because of the weather and the fact that compared to the Netherlands, Turkey requires fewer permits for making a photo shoot. Müfide is a member of the Central Europe Artistic Team of an international hairdresser’s organization. This organization decides every year on the new hair fashion styles for men and women featured on the catwalks of Paris, Milan and other fashion capitals.
