Turkish photographers in the Netherlands

In 2007 the Turks-Nederlands museum Hoorn hosted an exhibition about Mevlana. It was organized on collaboration with the city of Konya, Turkey, for the Mevlana year. After this exhibition the photos were exhibited at the Bijbelse Openluchtmuseum in Nijmegen.

In 2008, Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ held an exhibition by photos of Ara Güler. He is seen as the photographer of Istanbul, and is also internationally famous and known as ‘the Eye of Istanbul’.
