In Holland there are quite a few radio stations that have programs especially for Turkish people.

Dinamit

Dinamit broadcasts on Sundays from 18.00-20.00 in the city of Leiden, and is available in 7 other cities in the province Zuid-Holland. (Leiden, Voorschoten, Oegstgeest, Teylingen, Zoeterwoude, Lisse, Hillegom, Wassenaar.) The first part of the program is in Turkish, the second in Dutch, and topics discussed are news, sports, poetry, Turkish music.

 

Haydi Bakalim

On Friday nights from 21.00-23.00 Haydi Bakalim broadcasts in the city of Beverwijk and IJmond. They focus specifically on listeners of Turkish origin and hope to give a positive contribution to the integration process by providing more information and understanding about the diverse cultures in Dutch society. www.haydibakalim.com

 

Muhhabet Fm

On Tuesday nights Muhhabet FM broadcasts from 20.00 – 21.00. Muhhabet means a good conversation and the program is bilingual, the first half hour in Turkish, the second in Dutch. The station is located in Arnhem and the presenter of the program is Bahaddin Budak. The subjects discussed are diverse with a starting point of Islam and/or Muslims in Holland.

 

Neseli Pasar

A Turksh program broadcasted on Sundays from 20:00 – 22:00 in the city of Helmond.

 

Patlican

On Friday nights, from 20.00-22.00 the program Patlican broadcasts in Heemskerk. They aim to give information in Turkish and play Turkish music.

 

Sevgi Rüzgari

On Sundays from 17:00-19:00, Sevgi Rüzgari broadcasts in Almelo. It is a request-program with DJ KeKeLi and eBRu.

 

Süper Özlem

On Sundays from 14:00-16:30 Süper Özlem (= homesickness) broadcasts from Ede.

 

Turk FM

On Saturdays from 20:00-22:00 Turk FM broadcasts in Heerde and Epe.

FunX

FunX is an interactive radiostation made by and for youth from the city. FunX plays music which is popular with both Dutch youth as well as youth with their roots elsewhere. Besides mainstream music they also play Latin, Turkish pop music, African, Arab, Reggae, 2step and Mixpop. Every day there is a theme on which youth can give their opinions.
